MDI is a technology leader in the development of torque measurement solutions. We enroll a number of disciplines to ensure that each solution we develop meets your specific design and performance expectations. The process starts with a clearly defined project statement with specific deliverables; continues through the actual product design, development, and manufacture; and ends with the post development support of our client. The team concept includes electrical and mechanical engineering as well as physicists and production staff. The “total team” approach has often provided technical breakthrough solutions for our clients.

Our Knowledge and Experience

MDI has gathered a group of design engineers with over 140 years of combined knowledge in the specific field of electronic and mechanical technology. They apply their knowledge to take the concepts that our physicists provide and make them workable solutions. Through this process they have accumulated over 30 patents and have numerous patents pending.

Our engineering team is critical to the development process we utilize to create a solution for either our standard line of products, or for custom developed products. They bring real world/logical solutions to a technology that has limitless possibilities for our clients.

Our design engineers focus their time and efforts on project work that supports our vast array of clients and MDI standard product development. For our custom clients, they work closely with the client's engineering team to ensure the solution is designed for the application requirements' form, function and fit.
