If the shaft is an integral existing shaft, is its design such that a one to two inch long sleeve can be press fit onto the sensor area? For example, is the shaft straight and is its diameter between the end and the sensor area less than the diameter of the sensor area? (alternatively, please attach a drawing or sketch)

If the shaft is an integral existing shaft, can a slight taper (1:48) be ground or machined in the sensor area? (to facilitate a press-fit ring)
